Quality, CertificateMechanical Plants WIROMET S.A. has been the first company in Silesia region to implement the Quality Assurance System pursuant to ISO 9000:94 standards. The work related to the implementation of the system’s principles and rules was been started in 1993, positively accomplished with the certification audit in 1995 and followed by the issuance of ISO 9002:1994 certificates by PCBC and RWTÜV organisations. Two years later the Company launched further work to extend the system then in operation with elements of design engineering and in 1998, following the recertification audit WIROMET S.A. has obtained the certificate of compliance with ISO 9001:1994. The subsequent recertification audits in 2001, 2004 and 2007 has confirmed the compliance of the Company’s quality system with ISO 9001:2000 requirements. At the present our quality system is certified with the certificate no. 04 100 955146 issued by the TÜV Nord, covering: design engineering and manufacturing of mechanical machines and equipment, power hydraulics, vanes and other parts for steam turbines, foundry engineering of cast iron and non-ferrous metals, supervising of control-and-measurement equipment, installation works and technical assistance.
